I’m fortunate to work with a great group of people at Enquiro, a leading search engine marketing and marketing research company. As the director of marketing, I get to be in touch with everything that’s fun and innovative in our industry. That’s one of the reasons for this blog; there’s so much information out there and it’s great to share it with colleagues, students, and other like minded marketers.
Part of my former marketing experience comes from promoting a performing arts center. Another one of my passions is the psychology of leadership. A couple of years ago, the Banff Centre provided a forum for me to develop a corporate leadership training program based on the metaphor of conducting an orchestra. I studied and worked in Europe for nearly 10 years where I took physics, education and music. Besides my role at Enquiro, some of my time is also spent teaching marketing at the Centre for Arts and Technology Okanagan.
