About Andrew Spoeth

A warm welcome to MarketingFinger.com!

I’m Andrew Spoeth, and in this blog you’ll find a mix-match of gems on B2B marketing, social media, PR and technology.  You’ll also find me speaking at industry events, serving as the judging chair for the 2010 B2B Twitter of the Year (B2BTOTY) Awards, and co-moderating the weekly #B2Bchat series. Check out some of my recent talks and presentations.

As of October 2010 I’ve joined Marketo, the most exciting, successful marketing automation company in the world right now. At the company, I work amongst a very strong team of B2B marketers to help manage demand gen programs.

Previously, I’ve worked as the marketing director for Enquiro, one of North America’s leading search marketing agencies. In my role at Enquiro, a big part of my job included being in touch with the innovation and advances in our industry. That’s one of the reasons I started this blog. The pace of change is incredible. There is so much information out there and marketingfinger.com is an outlet to share with colleagues, students, academics, and like-minded marketers.

Leading into my career in digital marketing, I earned experience as the marketing and programming manager of a performing arts center. Another one of my passions is the psychology of leadership. Around 2005, The Banff Centre provided a forum for me to develop a corporate leadership training program based on the metaphor of conducting an orchestra. Before that, I studied and worked in Europe for nearly 10 years where I studied physics, mathematics, education and music. Besides my role at Enquiro, I also teach marketing and internet marketing at the Centre for Arts and Technology.

I trust you’ll enjoy what you find here. Be sure to follow me on Twitter and drop me an email to chat further. I look forward to connecting.
Cheers,

Andrew
